Department of Innovative and Engineered Materials

Department of Innovative and Engineered Materials (IEM) has been established at the beginning of FY1997 by selecting the members specialized in the fields of inorganic materials science and metallurgy, and applied chemistry through the reorganization of the previous Departments of Materials Science and Engineering and of Electronic Chemistry.
IEM plays an important role as the key Department of "MATERIALS TRIO" at the Interdisciplinary Graduate School.
